Tele-ophthalmology is emerging as a key part of our everyday practice with the wide spread availability of Imaging device in Ophthalmology. Machine learning is improving diagnostics, predicting outcomes, and will revolutionize personalized care for our patients. Healthcare industries worldwide are undergoing a major transformation through the use of advanced analytics and big data technologies. Analytics-assisted medicine may become an integral part of ophthalmology practices in the future.
The 3rd APTOS Symposium would cover exciting topics such as practicality and regulatory implications of big data analytics and Artificial Intelligence in tele-ophthalmology, including ethical challenges of using big data in our public healthcare systems. Our invited speakers will share their insights on how big data analytics and AI can be an effective tool to gain insight into real-world diagnostic, preventive and treatment patterns of ophthalmic conditions, to deliver the best care to patients.
An AI workshop will be held during the Symposium to allow delegates to have some hands-on experience on working with deep neural networks. Limited to first 30 pax who register onsite.
